Correcting photographic perspective
When you take pictures of tall or wide objects, the resulting
photographs may have perspective distortion — that is, the objects
may seem to be leaning or angled. This distortion occurs when the
camera is at an angle to the subject.
By using the Perspective Correction tool, you can fix perspective
distortion, such as the angled sides of a building. You can also fix
photographic perspective in an entire layer by using the Pick tool.
You can also
Straighten a single layer Before clicking the Straighten tool,
click the layer name on the Layers
palette.
Straighten all layers in the image Mark the Rotate all layers check box
on the Tools Options palette.
Choose a specific angle for the
straightening bar
Type or set a value in the Angle
control on the Tools Options palette.
Crop the edges of the image to
make it rectangular after
straightening
Mark the Crop image check box on
the Tools Options palette.
Fill the edge areas of your image
with the background color
Unmark the Crop image check box
on the Tools Options palette.
