To open or close a custom palette
• Perform a task from the following table.
To Do the following
Open a custom palette
Choose Window Custom Palette [Custom Panel
Name].
Close a custom palette On the custom panel header bar, click the Close
button.
To add items to a custom panel
• Perform a task from the following table.
To Do the following
Add a button from a panel Hold down Shift and drag a button from one
panel to the custom panel.
Add a menu item
Choose Window Custom Palette Add
Command. Choose the custom panel from the
SelectCustom Palette list box, and with the Create
Palette/Add Command dialog box open, choose a
menu item, and click OK.
Add a tool
Choose Window Custom Palette Add
Command. Choose the custom panel from the
Select Custom Palette list box, and with the
Create Palette/Add Command dialog box open,
choose a menu item from the Tools menu.
To change the appearance of items on a custom palette
