Mosaics and tessellations 725
You can add additional points by repeating the command 500 Random Points
or
500 Evenly-Spaced Points from the Options list box.
You can also add points by alternating between dragging and using an add-
points commands. The points accumulate and the total number of points
appears in the lower corner of the Make Tessellation dialog box.
To create a tessellation from a clone source
1 Choose File Open, and locate the file that you want to clone.
2 Choose File Quick Clone.
3 Click the Clone Color button in the Colors panel.
4 Choose Effects Esoterica Make Tessellation.
5 Choose one of the following tile shapes from the Display list box.
• Triangles
• Cracks
• Pieces
6 From the Options list box, choose one of the following:
• 500 Clone-Spaced Points — generates a tessellation by using a clone source.
Darker image areas produce a greater density of points.
• 500 Inverse Clone-Spaced Points — generates a tessellation by using a clone
source. Lighter image areas produce a greater density of points.
You can also adjust the grout spacing by choosing Effects Esoterica
Make Mosaic, and adjusting the Grout slider.

Add points by stroking the tessellation With the Make Tessellation dialog box
open, click or drag in the tessellation where
you want to add more intensity.
Clear all tessellation points Choose Reset from the Options list box.
